I'm on a 1.5 build from Dec or so. We haven't changed in quite a while, and haven't yet moved to 2.0.
I'm having trouble with long-duration motion blur. I'm trying to render a stream of flowing particles with a 15-frame duration motion blur, and getting some odd results.
If I render with distributed on, I get buckets with great variance. some with MB, some seemingly without. (the particle system has been baked, and all is readable by the network).
If I render hires with a single machine, there are strange missing chunks... much like what you would get with fine lines and undersampling.
I have a scene here: www.motr.net/vray
streamsCombine.mb
You'll have to do your own particle cache on your end, but it's pretty quick to do.
