  • Motion Blur with V-Ray RT for Maya on Standalone.

    Dear Chaos Group Support Team,

I got this information("Motion blur on the GPU is currently only supported by V-Ray Standalone, which is part of V-Ray for Maya."
    ) from this link "http://www.mintviz.com/articles/vray-rt-2-0-production-renderer/ ".

So I tried to make a motion blur and DOF on V-Ray RT Standalone. Please check below image.

As you can see I turned on Motion Blur and DOF.
And It is working great with V-Ray RT on CPU.
But there is some problems with V-Ray RT on GPU. The image looks stange with shadow and some part of the image.
Most important thing is there is no Motion Blur and DOF with V-Ray RT on GPU.

There was no motion blur even if I just turned on motion blur with V-Ray RT on GPU of V-Ray Standalone.
Did I miss something to use Motion Blur and DOF with V-Ray RT on GPU of V-Ray Standalone?

I will really appreciate it for your help.

    Best Regards,
    Sangho Jung.

DOF works only with the V-Ray physical camera for the moment; however motion blur worked fine for me both with a regular and with a physical camera. Can you post your .vrscene here so that I can test this with it?

    Best regards,
    Vlado

Can you tell me which build you are using and what is your command line? It seems to work fine for me (see the attachments), although the gpu version is slightly brigher (will fix this).
