  • V-Ray Toon Issue

    Dear Chaos Group Development Team,

Thank you for the nice V-Ray toon for Maya.

I am trying to make 3 different colors for the lines with V-Ray Toon.
It is really working great without Sun & Sky.
But there is just black line if there is Sun & Sky in the scene.

    Please check rendered images.

There is a "compensate camera exposure" option which fixes this issue.

Thank you very much. I couldn't recognize the option. The answer is near!!!
      It is really working great.

And if we can select VRayToon with a tick for DAG Objects Only in Display option of Outliner it would be great.
It is a small request of a Korean CG Designer who loves V-Ray very much.

Well, the toon is not a DAG object (it is not placed anywhere specifically in the scene), so unfortunately there is no other way to select it for the moment.

Thank you for your fast reply.
If he make a set for VRayToon he can select the VRayToon within DAG object only.
I will let him know about this.

          Thanks again.

Why is there a different thickness to the line weight when it gets to the alpha background?

Most probably the Width Type is set to Word Units, that way the objects further away will have less thickness that the ones close to the camera.
