I've noticed a lot of artifacting/oddities in round edges where the shape (of the hole/edge intersection) has a 45 degree orientation. I've attached a sample below.
I use round edges on a daily basis for almost every project, and mostly it's wonderful. This 45degree problem is driving me nuts though. I've attached this scene as an example as it perfectly illustrates the problem on every drilled hole. The triangulation is different for every circle, and all geometry has been triple checked (as usual). The mesh is rotated 35degrees via a parent group.
Again, it's not just this scene. I see it again and again. Seems to be a fidelity thing on VRay's side I'm afraid.
