Long render times

Hi guys,

I have scene here with an object that has VRAYFASTSSS shader and a bunch of Vraysphere lights (around 5).

The images renders in 940*540 in about 2 min ....but if I render in 1920 * 1080 the render takes like 15 min.

Any ideas why that might happen?

ps: could that be a memory issue? I was now able to render a frame in 1700 (instead of 1920) in about 3 min. But as soon as I go higher in resolution the render time explodes.

okay...so it was the "dynamic memory" (in the Vray render settings / systems tab)....I increased it from 500mb to 1gig...and now the frame renders in 1920 res in 2 min.

Note: you can safely increase this value to almost your max amount of ram (I have 8gb and always have my dynamic memory limit set to 7,000mb).
