  • vRay RT engine not working.

    Hi guys,

    I'm having a bit of trouble rendering, using vRay RT engine, its not working at all, Please help.

    I am using Linux centos v5.7
    on a PC :
    HP z600 Dual Quad core 2.40ghz
    24GBRAM
    Nvidia Quadro 2000

    Software :
    Maya 2012
    V-Ray: V-Ray core version is 2.00.01
    V-Ray: V-Ray for Maya version 2.00.04 from Apr 28 2011, 02:18:0
    Nvidia driver - Version 280.1

    I am getting these warnings, but no result, any suggestions.

    Since you don't have either gnome-terminal or xterm, you will need to start the V-Ray RT render server manually by running the vrayterminal script yourself - see my email reply. I made a note to check for the presence of Konsole too for future builds.
