  • Two Vray Rt bugs

    I'm using Win 7 x64, V-Ray for Maya version 2.00.04 from Sep 18 2011, last stable.


    Vray Rt through Gpu (openCl) bug:

    When any VrayMtl material haves "phong" brdf Type and Reflection Glossiness is lower than 1.0 (being activated "Lock ightlight and reflection glossiness", making the typical bright white spot), and activate the Fresnel, and leave reflection in non black (and the reflection amount in non zero), then Vray Rt through OpenCl writes the dump and crash.

    Too I can say that, doesn't work neither Opacity, or Amount, from Basic Parameters section.


    Vray Rt through Cpu bug:

    If you have in the scene a VrayMtl Material with next three features working, Rt-Cpu stops working (but not crash):

    Refraction activated (color different of black, and refraction amount not to zero)
    Fog Color activated (color different of pure white)
    Subsurface Scattering activated (with the mark checked).
