  • Image Resolution Bug?

    Hi All,

I keep having a recurring issue when changing the resolution width/height in the VRay Common tab. If I change the either the width or height values Maya seems to hang / lag for ages (like minutes). I usually am forced to restart Maya to save time. I noticed that Maya uses 1 full processing core for quite a while before the system/program finally catches up. This issue gets worse as the scene poly count gets higher.

Has anyone else experienced the same issue?

    Cheers, Pete

    System Specs:
    Mac Pro 2 x 2.66 GHz 6 Core Intel Xeon / SD 512mb / 24gb Ram / Mac OS 10.6.8
    Nvidia Quadro 4000 for Mac
    Maya 2012 (Hotfix 3-64bit) Vray 2.0

    Hello,

Is this the official build or a nightly? And if it is a nightly, could you please tell me what is the date of it?

    Thanks,

We couldn't reproduce the issue here, we tested it on Mac OSX 2 x 2.66 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon / 6gb Ram / Mac OS 10.6.8. Would you please provide us with a steps to reproduce it or a scene to test?
Also if there is anything specific about your system please let us know?
            Best regards,
