  • // Error: Exception [module=1]

So I have a scene. Its got a couple different cameras. I have a closeup camera and then a wider camera. The closeup camera renders fine but when I pull out for the wide shot it gives me this error:

    // Error: Exception [module=1] : Rendering region (704,704)-(768,720) //
// Error: There was a fatal error rendering the scene. //

No matter what I do it seems to give me this error every time. I don't know why. Any suggestions? Have you experienced this before?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

Do you use Image Plane for the camera? Because I got a similar Error message when I used it.
If you are using Image Plane please check this thread - http://www.chaosgroup.com/forums/vbu...ht=image+plane

    Best Regards,

      I've got the same here...

Figured out that the point is the image plane, without no errors...

With a fresh image plane it works first, but if I put a texture input gamma attribute on it it crashes....

Would be nice if that is fixed soon.

I get the Module 1 error if GI is turned off
and a moule 2 error (irradiance map thread) if GI is turned on

Nightly Build from 30 Nov 2011

      Cheers

Hey sersia and Mr. Hoo you are correct! I was using an image plane. And I was using a nightly build from late November. That seems to be the problem! Thanks so much for your expertice

                Hi Vlado,

is there any chance to see this fixed in a nightly for snow leopard?
Because the same error drove me mad last night, hehe

                Cheers!
