  • Proxy objects not showing up in render...

    Hey,

So I'm working on a project using vray proxy files. They have been working fine until recently.
Now, when I render the scene I just get a bunch of blue boxes. And when I check or uncheck "show bounding box" nothing happens. Even when I got into the proxy node and try to reconnect it with the proxy file again nothing happens.

Here is a link to the maya file and the two proxy files and belong in it.

Any help with what is going on here would be appreciated.
Also, for any moderators and vray programmers that might be reading I would also note that I am working the November 22nd build of Vray 2.15.01 and any attempt to create a proxy object causes maya to crash. I had to create the proxy object on a previous version of vray and then import it.

    Thanks in advance!

There was a known compiler issue with builds around this date. Its recommended to use builds from December.

The actual problem in your scene is that your shapes are detached from the proxy nodes. You must reconnect the "output" of VRayMesh to the "inMesh" of the maya mesh.
