  • batch render - empty black fames

    Hi Guys,

I am trying a batch render atm, but I am getting no love. Render fine in VFB for single frames while tuning, but blank in batch. Render-able Camera seems configured correctly, there is no real error aside from

    !vrayOnCameraPhysicalOn 0

Which is confusing as the render-able camera definitely has the physical attributes enabled and working.

    Code:

Can you post some more lines from the log (specifically where it says the number of triangles in the scene)?

      Best regards,
      Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.

        Hi Guys,

Thank-you for the replies. I have just come back to this scene with fresh eyes, and have worked out that the issues was with "zooShots", a script from multi camera shot setup. The changes/attributes were not being passed correctly by the zooShots node in Maya batch or when exporting for standalone. Baking all animated/connected attributes on the camera and deleting the shots node fixed the issue. It is slightly annoying as this is a one way step; I will look at the script at a later date and see whether I can find a better fix.

Jermy, good to know! I use that all the time.
Vlado, you are the busiest guy here, thanks for the reply but in this case it was user error (of sorts),

        Kind Regards

        Chris Dardis
