    Hi guys

I may have turned on a checkbox somewhere, but I can't figure out what is going on
On the rendering pass, the image displays crazy colours - like a thermal imaging camera!
It is not happening on other Vray scenes, so I assume the Vray code is intact!

    Help!

Looks like you checked "Show samples" in the GI tab under irradiance map.

    Cheers!

      Hi

I am using Brute Force and Light cache, not Irradiance map - I sitll get the same colours if I switch to Irradiance map
      Very strange

There's also a "Show Samples" option in the vray / image sampler section.
Or you made an Sample Render Element and switched the shown pass to it in the VRay Framebuffer?

That's what I would have suggested next!

            Cool...That did it thanks Pechart

I had the "Show Samples" checkbox on
I must learn to keep my fingers off all the switches!
BTW, Where would one use such a feature?

for example, if you have extreme render times and no idea why, you could check where vray samples a lot and ideally fix it
