Ignoring reflection, refraction, specular and indirect lighting, when I try to comp my render elements together (in nuke), I come across this problem:
Lighting + SSS ≠ Beauty
The difference between the two is very slight, but still noticeable. Has anyone else noticed this?
All my textures are .exr, Rendering out to .exr, Color mapping gamma set to 2.2 (adaptation only), no image plane or background texture, all lights invisible (can't think of anything else relevant).
//EDIT:
Seems to have something to do with textures being mapped to Diffuse color and Sub-surface color in the SSS2 shader (also scatter radius). Without textures mapped, the render elements add up to match the beauty just fine. Solution is still unknown though.
