Hi,
there seems to be a bug that causes a crash after the rendering is done. I am not sure if it is a Vray frame buffer issue or Maya related.
You can reproduce it as follows:
1. create a simple scene with a poly sphere and a directional light
2. check "Use V-Ray VFB" in Render Globals
3. open Maya Render View and right click on the first icon on the left (Redo previous render) and choose persp camera
4. VFB will open and render the image. After the rendering is done Maya freezes.
To circumvent this, you can either make a snapshot of the desired camera and then click the render button or choose the camera in the render menu (Render -> Render -> persp).

Cheers,
