VRAY/HAIR issue

There is a hair segmentation that is noticeable on longer hairs when rendering Shave and Haircut in VRAY.
Changing the segment number correlates with break points on a hair strand. Any ideas?

You can try increasing the shadow bias parameter of your light a bit.
