    Hi, I want to make a crowd with particles and image sequences on instanced planes. But I can't seem to find a way to offset the image sequences per particle? It doesn't work to let a particle sampler drive the file offset of the images sequences. I also tried to use a VRayUserScaler to drive image sequences but it doens't work. I am a bit lost right now, are there other people with solutions for this?
    I can also use sprites but vray doesn't seem to recognize the SpriteNumPP attribute, I'm afraid only Maya Hardware does.
    Any Ideas?

    This is a tough one; perhaps you can make a few different sequences by renumbering the frames and assigning a random sequences to the particles.

      Yeah I could do that, but it´s not the best solution. You need a lot of different sequences to make it random enough. I encountered the same problem with vray animated proxies. I guess it´s a maya limitation.
