This might not be a vray problem as much as just a render issue that might happen with any renderer. But as I cannot identify the source of the problem I thought I would ask the knowledgeable folks here on the forums.
I have a rough surface. Think leather or dragon skin. It's got a glossy wet look. I am lighting it with a skydome with an HDR image mapped in. It is also a moving camera. I shot a background plate handheld, tracked it, and then integrated my 3d model. When I render it though, the light reflects off the vray material extremely randomly. So much so that it looks like Christmas lights twinkling. In each frame the reflection seems to bear no resemblance to the previous frames. When played back at 24FPS...it doesn't look good.
Has anyone had a problem like this before? Any idea how to combat this? Potential solutions?
Thanks in advance.
