Hi all,
I've a pc work station and a macbook pro laptop, ( win 7 and lion) up up until recently i've been able to use the laptop as a slave and all was fine ... a few days ago replaced the macbook and now the macbook firewall seems to be blocking / stopping vray slave. see below:-
// Warning: Could not connect to host xxx.xxx.x.xx:20207: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. //
does anyone else have a similar PC MAC setup and had similar problems , in the macbook pro's preferences - firewall settings, there isn't an option to enable/open any ports...
any help much appreciated
(sub note: In the settings window in maya / vray render settings when the "resolve servers" button is pressed vray successfully finds the macbook and the slave on the macbook loads ok and is waiting for data to come in , but on hitting render, I get // Warning: Could not connect to host xxx.xxx.x.xx:20207: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. //)
