light select passes with maya fluids

Hey,

I tried setting up light select passes for use with maya fluids but I get black passes. The fluid only shows up in the beauty pass. is this a known problem? as it happens with vray 1.5 for maya as well 2.2.

Unfortunately Maya fluids are not supported by the Light select RE yet.
We are aware of the restriction and we working on it.

You could rgb color your lights, and make selections like that. Not a solution but a reasonable workaround.
