  • Diffuse multiplier on directionnal lights doesn't work !

    Hi,
It looks like the "vrayDiffuseMult" of a Maya directionnal light does nothing.

Create a sphere, add a directionnal light, add vray attributes on the light, play with the diffuse multiplier. Nothing happend.

I am in production and all my lighting scene is changed.

It will be great if it can be fixed quickly.

    Thanks.

This parameter is only for the diffuse photons produced by the light if you use a global photon map as a GI engine. It does not affect the diffuse contribution of the light in other cases.

You could create two lights, one which emits diffuse only, the other - specular only, and adjust their colors.

Vlado can this be made a wish to add extended support to directional/maya native lights for things like diffuse/specular contributions?
