    i have a mesh with a geocache loaded onto it and i'm using a cellular texture to drive displacement and color
    the object appears to swim thru the texture. is there something i need to change in the cellular to make it work?

    here is what the cellular looks like now. i tried both place 2d and place 3d into it. neither works for me. still swimming...

    seems like the key is to make it with a place3d, but you have to make sure to UN-CHECK "use 3d mapping".
    if thats true then maybe we should have that unchecked if you make the plugin-tex with a place 3d?
    the result appears to be the same visually so far.
    will post if I find anything more...

      Yes, it would be best if we changed the default for the "use 3d mapping" option to off - will make a note to do it.
