Is there any possibility of being able to change vray so that it renders out "interleaved" TIFs instead of "Per Channel Pixel Order" TIFs?
For VFX artists who composit in autodesk flame, vray just doesn't give any good options for renders.
TIFs from vray won't open on a flame. Period. It just won't read whatever format vray renders out.
TGAs work, but they aren't 16 or 32 bit.
EXRs are problematic too.
JPEGs are right out (for obvious reasons).
This means that we just don't have a good workflow for vray renders. It would be awesome if vray could export DPX files too.
I'd be interested to hear from anyone else comping vray renders on a flame. If you have any solutions or workarounds.
Thanks!
