  • Phoenix render problem : smoke flickering

    Hi,
A co-worker (the FX guy) gave me a Pheonix simulation to render (with a cache) with in VRay.
I have calculated the render, but on some frame, my smoke have flickering.

    Example :
    Frame 64 :

    Frame 65 :

    Frame 66 like 64, frame 67 like 65...

    I know nothing about Phoenix...
I have tried to find what is wrong, and it looks like the problem is with the transparency.

    The cloud3d have default setting.
Anyone know what is wrong please ?

    Thanks.

Skip shading level looks too high. The shading step can be too high also and miss content.

Ok, but it is normal that it works for one frame, another frame is wrong, another frame good.... ?
