  • Export to vrmesh and multiple objects last object fail.

    Heya

I've noticed that if I have a set of objects and I export it to 1 file. The last selected object(I believe) export but don't show up during the render. It looks like its skipped.

Does any1 else have that too?

Also if I move newly created proxies to group I lose all connections to materials and proxy settings

    Thanks, bye.

    Hi DADAL,

What version of Maya/V-Ray are you using? We have added an option to designate a preview mesh when creating proxy in the nightly builds. You can find this in the create proxy dialogue ("use last selected mesh as preview"). When this option is on, the last selected object will be used as preview and won't be exported. Please check this option and write back if this is not your case.

As for the second issue you've described - is it possible to give us some reproduction steps?

    Best regards,
    yolov

      Heya

      Maya sp2 2013
Vray... it was this one I believe 22433

I will try again with latest nightly using 22446.

The second issue. If I select object and conver it to proxy. I get object_name_proxy new object. If I move the proxy to new group it loses all connections, settings and its not a proxy anymore during render.

      Thanks, b

Would it be possible to send us an example scene with that issue and steps to reproduce to: support@chaosgroup.com
Also please let us know the exact V-Ray version that you are using?
