I don't know if this has been addressed but in our nightly build of v-ray (V-Ray for Maya version 2.25.01, revision 22441) the maya FB always comes up when we hit the render button regardless of whether the "hide render view" button is checked or not. Its pretty annoying. Any ideas?

vlado can say for sure, but I think that function has no effect at the moment, since there were stability issues with it along side the vfb so its been disabled.Dmitry Vinnik

Dmitry is correct; hiding the Maya render view turned out to cause crashes with Qt and we disabled this function for the moment. We should probably remove it from the UI too.
