  • Fluid texture problem

    Heya,

I´m trying to render some fluids containers for some clouds. Everythign works fine inside of Maya, but... If I send the sequence to the farm as a vrscene the fluid only looks fine in the first frame of the sequence.
All other frames the fluids has lost the texture information and is rendered as a simple blob
Currently we are using this VRay Version together with the Phoenix.dll for rendering.

    [2012/Nov/28|13:10:43] V-Ray: V-Ray for Maya version 2.25.01, revision 22495 from Nov 14 2012, 01:43:12
    [2012/Nov/28|13:10:43] V-Ray: V-Ray core version is 2.00.02

I know that it is working, because I rendered something like this before.

A quick fix would be nice, because deadline is dropping in on Friday If there is no wuick fix, let me know so I can try an older VRay version for this scene.

    Thanks in advance Paul!

Can you try exporting the vrscene and render on the same machine with vray.exe? To figure out if this is exporter or DR problem.

        Hm, not working.

You can download the .vrscene here www.dryzen.com/transfer/Cloudproblem.rar

First frame everything is fine, second frame texture is missing.

Yes, the problem is with the coordinate method. I'm still trying to find it, but if it's working with the other method, you don't need to wait .

Can you try again with the next nightly build? I think it should be fixed.
