  • Invalid geometry normal for...

    Heya

    I've had this errors for a long time and I was just wondering if any1 else has it to. It does not really affect anything as far as I can tell. Just pop up warnings...

    // Warning: Invalid geometric normal (0 0 0) for "<unknown>". //
    // Warning: Invalid geometric normal (0 0 0) for "<unknown>". //
    // Warning: Invalid geometric normal (0 0 0) for "<unknown>". //
    // Warning: Invalid geometric normal (0 0 0) for "<unknown>". //
    // Warning: Invalid geometric normal (0 0 0) for "<unknown>". //
    // Warning: Invalid geometric normal (0 0 0) for "<unknown>". //
    // Warning: Invalid geometric normal (0 0 0) for "<unknown>". //

    Thanks, bye.

    do you have some weird objects in your scene which you imported from else where? See Dag objects in outliner if there is anything unusual there...

      I had this problem after exporting a head model as an .obj to edit in a zbrush. When reimported I get this error when I try to render. Just keeps repeating over and over on the script editor....can't seem to fix the model.

        This usually happens when you use subdivision surfaces on models with errors like repeating faces, non-merged vertices, zero-area faces and the like.
