  • Vray ENV fog visible outside of container but not inside.

I am trying to make a nice old school beam effect. I am using vray env fog on some primitive shapes with vray lights in them. It works great when the camera is outside the primitive. Yet when I fly the camera inside the primitive the fog disappears.

I am using the vray fog in the volume material slot of the shading group and it works when the camera is not inside the object.

Is there a way to make this work?

I don't want to put fog on the entire environment. Just want it to appear inside the primitives and also stay when I fly the camera inside the primitives.

    Thanks.
