Heya
I've been doing some test lately with caustics to freshen up my skill with them and I run in to some interesting issues..
Using nightly 20130318
I get some sort of caustic cut off/bugs happening. From images you can see render times and caustic subdivision per light. As I go higher I get longer render results and some issues with caustics start popping up. Only way to fix it was to use max density - is that the proper approach ?
CausticBug_01.mb.zip
Regarding caustic itself I want to keep them quite sharp but so far the render times get very long and quality is still quite far away from where I'd like to see it...
Any suggestions how to get them where I want ? Or is it normal...
