minimum hair radius with Yeti fur.

Heya,

on the current project I have a pretty small scene size.
My small problem is that I am not able to decrease the radius of the fur as much as I want. Somehow there must be a limitation which prevents Yeti from creating smaller fur.

Any ideas? As a reference. If I use the VRay fur tool the radius 0.001 is matching the minimum radius from Yeti.

With the VRay fur I am able to decrease the radius to something like 0.0001 and the fur gets smaller.

Any ideas?

Did you ask yeti support? You may also look at your slider precision values maybe increase the number ...but some how I think yeti uses its own? who knows?

You might have to try with a newer nightly build of V-Ray; we did have some limitation on the radius in the older builds.
