  • PLY to .vrmesh converter - reverses RealFlow mesh normals

I converted a Realflow .bin mesh sequence to .vrmesh
When I add the vrmesh to my scene the normals are reversed and the object is inverted horizontally. I need to scale Z to -1 to match the RealFlow imported mesh.

I can fix the normals by reversing normals on the meshShape itself, but then it will only render when I select "Show whole mesh" otherwise it renders the random preview triangles!

Any idea on how to reverse normals on the .vrmesh files themselves?

The ply2vrmesh tool has a number of options to flip and negate axes; one of them is bound to work. Run it without arguments to see the available options. I think that -flipYZ or -flipYPosZ should work.

    Best regards,
