  • Normal pass shader

    Heya

    I'm in need of getting a normal pass from under glass... soo how can I do it? In MR I can just use ambient occlusion in Normal pass mode and render beauty but here... how?

    I'm in trouble :s

    What about the normal Render Element and your materials refraction set to "affect all channels"? Should work, i think.

      Either that, or ExtraTex render element connected to the normal output of a samplerInfo node (you'll still need the "affect all channels" option in the glass material). Or you can just do with the samplerInfo texture whatever you do with the mr ambient occlusion one...

        Pechart I could not get it to work that way. I was still getting glass rather than obj inside.
