  • VrayProxy - RenderID and Coverage

    Hello!
I have a question, when you use a VRMesh formed by multiple objects and active RenderID and coverage in renderPass, you should see all the objects that compose it, and no one, right?
    Is this a bug?
    I'm doing something wrong?
one could implement? it's really annoying when you have to use multimatte consists of many objects and not me because materialID share materials.
I can not convert it to mesh because it loses the animation.
    Any help?
    thanks

You should see one object. The .vrmesh file is a single render object from the point of view of the renderer. If you want to see the different sub-objects, you can use the Object ID render element (assuming that you exported the .vrmesh with different IDs). There is nothing to do about the coverage though. You could try deep output instead.

    Nope.

    No.

Nope. As I said, from the point of view of the renderer, the whole .vrmesh file is really just one object. Using deep images might be a better approach.

    Best regards,

I only act like I know everything, Rogers.
