  • VRayGeoSun: access to Azimuth & Altitude?

    Hello Chaos,

    Is there a way to unlock the Azimuth and Altitude Attrs in Maya's implementation of your VRayGeoSun?

    Regards,

    s.

    Hi again,
    Looking into it and if I am correct I find that those attrs are read only.
    But it would be great if there was a proc to make 'em keyable. or at least that the sun defaulted to 0 azimuth & 0 altitude so that the rotations could be used in lieu.

    string $list[] = `listAttr -readOnly VRayGeoSun1`;
    print $list;

    btw: what happened at the default's sun observation position? lat 42.650 N 23.383 E, did Chaos started there?

    thanks,

    s.

      Yes, azimuth and altitude are currently only displayed for information. Otherwise manual position can be entered. I suppose that it can be calculated using a script, but it's really not convenient. The default coordinates are for Sofia, where the main office is located .
