Problem with license server

Hey guys!

This is a first post for me, and usually i would not ask this kind of question on a forum as i would be able to figure it out myself.

I have just bought vray for maya, and i am running it on my mac.

I have a dongle with what i believe is the license, but i don't know how to make the license server run so my copy of vray will work.

I understand this is a real beginner question but any help, or if you could point my to the right thread would be great.

I tired everything on that page, i have the dongle installed, i have the plug-in installed but when i try and run the terminal scripts it just says to me " no such file or directory.

I used the terminal script

http:///Applications/Autodesk/maya20...vrlservice.exe -server="my IP address" (with my ip address inserted)

but it still failed to work

Are you running the license server on the same machine? If yes, there is no need to run the setvrlservice tool - it uses the local machine by default.

Also, bundled with the installation on our website is a more up-to-date PDF with installation instructions.
