  • BUG: Animated Filme Offset not working during rendering (Maya 2014)

    Hi!

I have a problem which bugs me a lot.

I animated the vertical Film offset of a Maya camera.
    In viewport all looks fine.
When I render (doesn't matter if local, farm or in GUI) the animated changes of the Film Offset is not working.
The funny thing is that the Offset animation is never 0, but only when the value really changes these changes are not applied during rendering.
When I render a still everything is fine.

    Using vray_adv_22501_maya2014_x64_23507.

Below is a very simple sample scene.

    Thanks for any help!

    Best,
    Jan.

We managed to reproduce it here - it is considered as a bug and it is already reported into our system.
Will let you know when we have a solution about it.

        Anything yet?

I really would need this fixed as it gives me much longer render times due to a workaround of rendering each frame single through a render farm batch.

        Thx.

Not yet, but we'll try to implement it as soon as possible.
If it is something easy to do (as I suppose it is) you'll have available in the night builds it in the next couple of days.
