  • skip existing frames?

I'm using V-Ray 2.0 for Maya 2014. I can't seem to figure out how to get the command line renderer to skip existing frames when rendering an animation sequence. Does anyone know what the renderer flag would be to get this to work? With Maya's software renderer, one can usually just insert "-rep 0" to skip existing frames. This doesn't work when using the VRay as the renderer.

    thanks,

We don't support a "skip existing frames" option right now. It's been on the "to do" list for a long time, but somewhat low on priority as most render farm management softwares already have this built in.
