  • is there a maximum size limitation to DR?

I'm trying to render an image that is 26,538 x 26,775 But every time I try to kick off the batch render. it just sits there and says that it is starting the Vray render but never does.

Is there a Maximum size that I'm over?

Ok so I tried to do a regular render and it crashes instantly as soon as I click the button. Con someone tell me what the max render size is and does anyone know a way around it say by rendering sections?

The steps to render such big resolutions are:
    1. Set the image type to either vrimg or exr(multichannel)
    2. Enable VFB
    3. Set the "Memory frame buffer" option to either "None" or "Preview" in the VFB settings
    4. Render

These steps will minimize the memory required for the VFB.

I would suggest to render it using either CROP render method and do tiles or simply use Vray standalone...
