  • Command line render entry point error

Hi there, using the latest official release for Maya 2014x6x I am getting this error

    ---------------------------
vray.exe - Entry Point Not Found
    ---------------------------
The procedure entry point ?getSelfIllumination@BRDFSampler@VUtils@@UEAA?AVCo lor@2@AEBVVRayContext@2@@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library vray.dll.
    ---------------------------
    OK
    ---------------------------

when activiating the render from VRay cmd.
But after you say OK to the error the render seems to continue fine, just thought I'd mention it.

    No idea what it means.

It may be a plugin that was not compiled for this version of VRay. Can you search the output for an error during the "loading plugins" stage?

If you check the date of the file, is it the same as that of all other plugins in that folder?

That plugin has a different date. 19/09/2013 the rest are 14/09/2013

It seams that we have found the error - it is strange why this file is newer than all other files.
Would it be possible to reinstall Vray and check if this error still persists ?
Let us know which is the exact version of Vray that you are using.
