Hi,
We're running V-Ray from an arbitrary installation and we use the DR feature extensively when rendering large images. At the same time we commence RT renderings within Maya when shading and lighting.
Now, the port being used by the V-Ray server in both instances is 20207 by default. Since this obviously clashes, I'd like to specify one port for DR rendering and one port for RT rendering, so that two V-Ray servers can co-exist AND so that anyone using RT won't get included in an ongoing DR job by mistake.
Now, my question: let's say I keep port 20207 for the RT in Maya stuff. Which non-default port would you advise me to use for DR that is safe not to clash with other operating system related services?
For example, would port 20208 be fine to use?
