I converted all my png/jpg textures to .tx files using the nMakeTx script from CreativeCrash http://www.creativecrash.com/maya/sc...nold-renderman
The script is designed for the maketx.exe that comes with Arnold, but I assume .tx is a universal format and V-ray can use these same files?
When I render my scene with the .tx files, it renders without a problem and all my textures appear...
However in the Output window I get the following warnings multiple times for each texture:
TIFFReadDirectory: Warning, path/texture_name.tx: unknown field with tag 317 (0x13d) encountered.
path/texture_name.tx: Can not read scanlines from a tiled image.
ERROR, Cannot read scanline 1023; No error
path/texture_name.tx is an example abbreviation I replace of the actual path and name because it was long.
Should I be worried about these warnings?
