  • No Vray Frame Buffer when render vrscene by Vray Standalone through terminal in Mac

Hi, all our platform is MacOSX 10.8.2 Maya is Maya 2014 Ex1 SP2. Vray For Maya is version 2.4.001.
I have successfully generated a vrscene from Maya through terminal.
Then i put this command through terminal to render the vrscene by Vray Standalone

    /Applications/Autodesk/maya2014/vray/bin/vray -verboselevel=4 -sceneFile="/Volumes/temp_public/okok_test/vscene/vray_simpleTest_1002.vrscene" -imgFile="/Volumes/temp_public/okok_test/vimg/haha..vrimg" -display=1 -displaySRGB=1 -imgWidth=2048 -imgHeight=1152

It can successfully generate the output image in the destination folder and all passes are there through Nuke, but the Vray Frame Buffer doesn't launch during render even i put the "-display=1" flag.

    Thanks!

This is expected and nothing is broken.
There is no UI in V-ray Standalone 64bi, because we're using Carbon base UI library and there is no Carbon for 64bit applications.
We're evaluating different option and in the future versions this problem might be fixed.
