I'm using the metaball surface for some goo effects using a nightly of 2.45 for maya. It seems that I can't give it an object ID to use in the multimatte render element though? I've tried assigning the object Id to both the metaball surface (which comes out as a transform node in maya - must fix the naming of it) and to the particle object that's added in to the metaball set. Any thoughts or is this already fixed in a newer nightly?

Edit - turns out it works with material ID via your shader, just not the object ID.
