  • Smaller resolution causes crash

    Hi there,
I get repeated crashes when rendering 1 particular frame of an animation sequence @768x576px resolution. I've tried numerous fixes none of which work but the only way I can get the frame to render is to increase the resolution to 800x600px. So I had to increase the resolution to stop Vray crashing....??? The Lightcache and irradiance maps pre-render fine (static animation) so I think it must have something to do with the raycaster? Memory is not an issue as I've got 24GB ram and the scene is only a million poly's with a few textures.

Any tips on why this might be happening would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers, Pete

Is it possible to upload or send us the scene, so we can try to see what the problem is?

What version of OS, Maya and V-Ray are you using?
