white speckles

Hi All,
When rendering I am getting some white speckles randomly through out my Renders.
Please see attached frame. Speckles on CAr Grill and Badge.
Using Vray 3 on Maya 2015.5 on MAC OS 10.8.4 and using deadline to send the job to a PC render farm.
I had this problem a while back and for the life of me , I cant rememberr how to fix it.

Do you have any small bright light sources in the scene?

No small light sources , just one hdr lighting the scene.

Try to use a clamp node after your hdr node. Clamp to something like 5.
