instead of opening a new thread, I will post a possible discovered bug here:

In Maya 2016, (Windows 7, SP1) with V-Ray30504_25742 (build from 25.04.), the "Show VRmat Editor"-Button in the VRaymvmat AE has no function. Unable to open the vrmat materialeditor. Is there another possibility?

VRmat Editor does not work currently - this is a know issue which we are working on.
