Is there anyway to stop these pixels from appearing?

This is the RAW 32bit beauty pass, no colour mapping is applied.

You can see most pixel values are around .5. However in the wine glass there is a tiny red pixel and its value is 20. Which is insane and kills my post production with lens flares.

Is there a way to avoid this?

I'm using all standard vraymtl, sun + sky and lights that are not above 3500 lumens.

clamp value and subpixel mapping should help. Or max ray intensity. I'd try those. But generally with vray sun you might get these kind of values.

Try making the sun invisible as well.

Thank you, I will try all these suggestions (however I'm still on an older version of V-Ray without max ray intensity).
