There seems to be a problem in passing additional shader attributes (root_color) from xgen to vray.
What I am trying to do is to paint a texture and make a ptex with xgen, and use it as a diffuse for VrayMtlHair3 shader.
The technique works well using mental ray, but vray seems not to be able to get the root_color attribute to override the shader diffuse color.
Is there any other way how to solve this issue? I have tried other ways but with no results.
