Hi there,
Sorry to post another thread on the forum for this issue, but we can't seem to get Vray 3 working over our network...
We've installed Vray 3 on my PC (which will be running Maya 2015). Then we have installed the standalone on a couple of our network machines, and on a brand new render server (which runs Windows Server 12).
In the Distributed Rendering window, I've put in the IP addresses of the server and the PC, and it issues them port 20207. Is this correct?
When I hit render, the dialogue says:
[2015/Feb/6|11:21:11] V-Ray warning: Could not connect to host **.*.**.**:20207: Connection timeout
[2015/Feb/6|11:21:11] V-Ray warning: Could not use any of the selected (1) hosts for distributed rendering!
If I type in my browser http://localhost:30304/getstatus I can see my licence information correctly, but if I do this on one of the slaves, no web page appears.
I've opened up ports 20207, and 30304 on all the computer's firewalls... still nothing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
