Sorry for not responding earlier. I switched back to Vray2.4 just because I didn't have more time to spend on issues.
It started with the Strange splotches problem, then the bad DR buckets. Both were resolved.
When i thought it would work, I had the IES crash problem, strange behavior of Blend material (It didn't really blend with the injected map) and another (small) problem which I cannot remember.
I think there is nothing really huge, but I needed to keep up the production and these were just too many little things that took my time searching for workarounds. I guess it was not the right time to switch to a new version (but it's never really the right time!).
I will try again Vray3.0 around mid-march.

Understandable. Well, in any case, whenever you have the time, I would appreciate it if you can send a simple scene reproducing any problem you have, so that we can take care of eventual bugs.
